A new update to Inbox by Gmail shows Google is focusing on search by adding two new features. First we see that when doing a search we will get some Quick Answer cards with actionable options like ‘track package’, ‘view email’, or ‘directions’. Under the quick answer, we’ll get a streamlined list of Top Results that are sorted by relevance.
For the last 6 years, Samsung has spent more and more money in research and development for computing and electronics. This has reached as high as $14.1 billion dollars spent in 2015 alone. This means Samsung is spending more money on R&D for computing and electronics than companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Cisco, Apple and others.
Samsung has finally announced their update for January’s Android security patches, saying they will be going out to all “major flagship models”. This will include all of the security patches that come with Android’s January security update, along with fixing 7 vulnerabilities that are specific to their own devices.
An offer that is only available to Android users via an app, Boost Mobile will let you watch ads for $5 off your monthly bill from the carrier. This ad will pop up each time you unlock your phone and from there you’ll get to decide if you like or dislike the ad. Users will also have the ability to tap on the ad to engage in the product.
Google makes a lot of money from ads on the web, so it’s no surprise that they have been working hard to get them implemented properly into the Accelerated Mobile Pages Project. This project is set to launch in February, and Google has been working with ad and content publishers to get “important, basic functionalities” working and ready for launch.
Samsung introduced Kids Mode on their Galaxy S5 and ever since then it has gone relatively untouched. A couple of new rumors say that Samsung will be giving the Kids Mode a major overhaul this year with new animations, a better look and more. Not only that, Samsung is also rumored to launch a variant of the Galaxy Tab E Lite just for kids.
