As Samsung is preparing to launch their Galaxy S20 lineup, they are also planning on launching several other devices in different price ranges for 2020, including “lite” versions of their current flagships. For most intents and purposes, these “lite” versions would carry similar processing power to their full flagship counterparts while cutting on other corners, such as build quality and features, in order to achieve a lower price point. Currently, Samsung is planning to launch two of these lite devices to the market: the Galaxy S10 Lite and the Galaxy Note 10 Lite. Now, right before the end of the year, we’re getting a glimpse at the Galaxy Note 10 Lite in all its glory.
Among some of the hardware changes made, we have a flat, non-curved screen, something we haven’t seen in the Note line since the launch of the Galaxy Note 5 in 2015. The phone also features a square camera bump that looks similar to the one rumored to be sported by the Galaxy S20 lineup as well as other phones such as the iPhone 11 Pro and the Pixel 4. This camera in particular features a triple camera setup with an LED flash in the corner. The body is seemingly built from plastic, which is logical given the “Lite” moniker.

Among some of the other specs, the phone is expected to debut with an Exynos 9810 processor, up to 8 GB of RAM, and up to 128 GB of storage. There is also an S Pen on board which is rumored to be even better than the one included in the regular Note 10 lineup. This device, as well as the Galaxy S10 Lite, is expected to be announced at CES 2020 next week, so we should keep an eye out for that.
